Story

Mighty Faith from Smallest Seeds

Mustard Tree Publishing LLC was born in 2017 through a prophetic word during the Applewine Soaking Awakening at Seattle Revival Church (now Eden Church in Newcastle, WA). Pastor Jamie Galloway released a global vision: to disciple God’s people through faith-based education — planting seeds that would grow and bear fruit for generations to come. Our first step was publishing Noah’s How Many Animals?, a children’s book printed in Korea, bringing this vision to life through storytelling. After relocating to Houston, we entered a season of pausing and listening. In 2022, during the VBC Houston Revival Conference, Pastor Khanh Huynh cast the vision once again — a clear confirmation that God was not done yet. On March 25, 2025, we relaunched Mustard Tree Publishing (MTP) in Texas, alongside the establishment of Mustard Tree Global (MTG), our nonprofit sister organization focused on global discipleship, leadership development, and community outreach. Today, Mustard Tree Publishing exists to provide bilingual, faith-based books and discipleship tools that serve families, churches, schools, and individuals across generations and cultures. From printed books to digital resources, our work is grounded in biblical truth and cultural relevance — equipping the body of Christ to grow strong in faith and bear lasting fruit. All profits from MTP help fund and fuel the missions of Mustard Tree Global — including evangelism, training leaders, feeding the hungry, and discipling communities around the world.

Meet Our Team

Thien-An Nguyen

Thien-An Nguyen brings over 20 years of experience in education—including roles as a math teacher, bilingual instructional coach, and secondary school administrator—alongside more than 30 years of dedicated ministry service. Her ministry spans children, youth, young adults, and adults, with deep involvement in family and marriage counseling and raising children grounded in faith. As founder of Mustard Tree Publishing and Mustard Tree Global, Thien-An integrates her educational leadership and pastoral heart to create discipleship resources and ministries that nurture faith in families and communities across generations. “Discipleship begins at home — and every home, church, and classroom can be a garden of faith.”

Hope Nguyen

Illustrator & Visual Storyteller

Hope brings color, joy, and imagination to every book. Her vibrant illustrations help children visualize God’s truth and connect emotionally with the stories they read. With a heart for storytelling and a gift for design, she creates visual worlds where faith comes alive.

Faith Nguyen

Translator & Social Media Coordinator

Faith bridges languages and cultures with her translation skills (English ↔ Korean) and strengthens our mission reach through social media. With creativity and insight, she builds community connections, shares our message, and amplifies the Gospel across platforms.

Graphic Designer & Branding Specialist

Chi brings creativity and professionalism to our visual identity as a talented graphic designer. She shapes the branding, book layouts, and cover designs with thoughtful artistry that beautifully communicates our faith-based mission.
